TOP 5 in BUCS for Squash
We have six teams that compete in the British University and College Sport (BUCS) league system: four men's teams and two women's. Both our men's 1st and women's 1st teams are in the National Premiership, the highest standard of university squash in the UK.
Most of our teams compete on Wednesday afternoons during term time in league and cup fixtures however our first teams play over two weekends and a few select Wednesdays in the National Premiership.

BUCS Format
Newcastle University Squash Club had its most successful season to date during 2021/22 with four league titles across our six teams, a top 4 finish in the UK for the women's 1st team, promotion to the national premiership for the men's 1st team and two cup finals for the men's 2nd and women's 2nd teams. This made squash the third highest point scoring club within Newcastle University's sport program, justifying its high level of support.
